PROJECT-BASED
LEARNING

What sets Sequoia Nova apart from other international schools in Bangkok is our commitment to going beyond traditional teaching methods. We integrate innovative, research-backed strategies that make learning more engaging, interactive, and meaningful for every child.

At the heart of our approach is Project-Based Learning (PBL) — a hands-on, inquiry-driven method where students tackle real-world challenges over time. Instead of relying on memorization, they develop deep understanding through collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Along the way, they build essential life skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and project management.

EXPLORING NEW HORIZONS IN LEARNING

"Sequoia-Nova provides the right solution for my educational needs. I like the 'personalized learning approach' which allows me to learn academics much better at my own pace. This experience helps me to develop mastery in each concept before moving on. Now, learning becomes much more interesting for me. I'm really happy to be part of this program."

Lulu Taylor

"Sequoia-Nova has taught me to be more focused on my goals and to be confident in myself. As they say, a progress each day adds up to a big result."

Emanuel

Since my two girls have studied at Sequoia-Nova, they haver complained how tired they were with all their work. They are also able to manage their time with friends and family. The best education doesn't have to come from the most popular school. We must keep learning, and never stop."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is “Project-Based Learning”?

Project-Based Learning is learning by identifying a real-world problem and developing a solution to it. Project-Based Learning is multidisciplinary in nature, and kids show what they learn as they journey through the project, not just at the end.

What are Future Skills?

At Sequoia-Nova, our goal is to equip students with the skills that will prepare them for future jobs. The core skills demanded by industries is expected to change dramatically, and the majority of children today will have future jobs that have yet to be invented. It is also clear that the jobs that do exist at that time will change frequently so that our children will need to adapt and re-learn frequently throughout their lives and careers. To succeed in this world, our children need to develop essential soft and hard skills.
